Jessica, is an International Spiritual Healer and Intuitive. Caring for people through different spiritual modalities, she humbly embraces these beautiful gifts of healing from The Divine allowing them to work through her as she is the instrument. Jessica is happily married to Dave Romo who is a retired Lieutenant from the Albuquerque Police Department and has chosen to continue employment in the public safety field. Dave and Jessica assist in the sales of Red Doc Farm’s new Pinto Bean Market. Jessica still assists in RDF’s Foreign marketing and exporting of cattle along with other operational business. Alicia is the owner of a multi-state Independent Insurance Agency with offices in New Mexico and Texas. Her company specializes in Commercial, Home, Auto, Life, and Farm and Ranch insurance. She currently is on the Santa Gertrudis Board of Directors, serving as the Director from District 1, where she also severs on the World Congress, Youth Activities, and International Committees. She was appointed by Governor Susana Martinez to the New Mexico Beef Council and served as their Chairman. Adolfo is very active in the cattle and farming operation and serves as chairman of the Santa Gertrudis Research and Education committee. Adolfo also serves on the performance committee for SGBI and the South Texas Heritage sale committee. He has worked on creating commercial industry ties for our customers to enhance their value in Red Doc sired calves. He works on research and development of Red Doc cattle including carcass data collection, Red Doc’s Grow Safe program, and ongoing genetic evaluations of the Red Doc bull and heifer programs. He is also a full-time rural family medicine doctor and practices with his father Dr. Roland Sanchez. Adolfo and Christina are engaged and plan to marry spring of 2018. Christina is a graduate of Texas Tech and a native Texan joining our Red Doc Team.
Roland II “Scooter” grew up with a deep love for the Santa Gertrudis breed of cattle. His main passion and love at the farm are the cattle and spends his time tending to the herds and implementing innovative technology to continuously improve herd genetics to serve the needs of cattlemen. He also works hard to serve the needs of his local community, as a dentist. Roland and his wife, Valerie opened their dental office, Conquistador Dental in 2010. Over the years, they have been able to provide a full spectrum of dental care, such as, oral surgery, cosmetic and restorative dentistry to their wonderful surrounding community.
Roland and Valerie also work together to manage marketing and produce advertising and communication material for the farm and its entities. They continue to manage the registered operation in selection of new genetics and individual matings, as well as, the Red Hot Bull Sale.
They currently have four children Lucia (6), Roland III (5), Viviana (3), and Inez (1) who are already proving to be very good cow-hands! They are excited to continue growing their family and their herd!
Florian and Stephanie are operating a fast-paced mixed animal veterinary practice in Belen, NM. They are energized to have a career serving a rural community and are humbled to bring new advancements in veterinary services to Florian’s hometown. Florian has developed a passion for performing orthopedic surgeries in small animals and is planning to implement a new surgery suite into the operation. They currently are in the process of building a brand-new, state-of-the-art, facility for the veterinary practice. The clinic oversees the herd health management, ET/ AI programs for Red Doc Farm, as well as all exportation of live cattle to foreign markets. Red Doc Farm is also utilizing the veterinary clinic’s in-house laboratory to perform blood testing for cows/heifers to confirm pregnancy at 28 days. Emilio is the youngest son of the Sanchez family. Emilio graduated from Texas Tech in 2011, with a degree in Animal Science. After graduating, he has taken the position as General Manager of Red Doc Farm, maintaining the daily operations on the various pastures, ranches, and farming properties. He currently manages all ranch cattle operations, as well as the sales of Red Doc products including cattle, hay, pinto beans, and natural beefs. He is a hands-on manager who was fortunate to marry his wife, Ronda, in 2014. Ronda is a sixth grade teacher at La Promesa Elementary. She also runs the cattle registry, carcass databank, feed efficiency analysis, and calving and breeding records. Emilio and Ronda have a son, Emilio II, and daughter, Celia. Their children experience and enjoy growing up on the ranch to become future beef breeders and farmers.
